A little about me. I am a mother wolf to two very special kids. I have a survivor of stage 3 endometriosis and hysterectomy. I was diganosed at 25 years old and for the longest time tried to have my babies . Through many prays, surgeries, and pregancies loses, I finally was blessed with my two babies. I thank God everyday for them and how they have shaped me to be the woman and mother I am today. Becoming a mother has taken me on so many journeys and I am thankful for each and every one of them. All my life all I ever wanted to do was be a mother, and when I struggled from the ages 25-36 trying to have my babies it really made me feel a series of emotions and how women go through so much to bring life into this world and no one truly knows the struggles until they’ve experience themselves. So that is why I landed on the the name “The Matriarch Effect”, because even if you are not a mother you are the center of your own world and you alone create your own path to which you will lead the rest of your life to. My photography is not just about capturing mothers, its about capturing the journey of all females, and males. We are not just one gender exclusive. Please note that when you book with me you will have raw, emotional photos taken of you that showcase who you are and tell your story. I offer a series of different types of sessions you can choose from, and if you don’t see one that fits you, then let’s create it.
